I thought I had come to the closure to my quest in searching for truth. Turned out it is just a beginning. New leads open up new doors. I never knew what was behind the doors. Not until I opened them and discovered that there is more and vast body of new knowledge for me to consume.
Issues pertaining to humanity is the top of the list. Why do we despise each other especially in the name of God? What's wrong with our understanding of the Most Compassionate and the Most Merciful? Why can't each of us have our own way to cherish our Gods? For those who don't believe in God, why can't we celebrate life the way we deem fit?
There is no discrepancy in who is the greatest. For those who believe, it's God Almighty. For those who don't believe then, mankind is the supreme being. There is no reason to shed blood or to have ill feeling towards one another for what we believe. We are fighting out of nothing. There is no just reason to take life in the name of God or other forms of supremacy.
I am a simple man. All I ever wanted was to run as much as I can. I am not bothered with politics and religious issue. As far as I'm concern, human beings have many ways to manipulate and maneuver the masses for their personal gain. As long as we are confined in a social hierarchy it is inevitable for us to preserve ourselves and our kin. This is made popular by Richard Dawkins in his book The Selfish Genes. Hence I stay clear from these two topics.
What matters to me is the universe within. I am referring to the trillions of cells, microbes, and mitochondria that occupy my body, the universe within. To these inhabitants, I am their god. All the actions I take lead to either the well-being of the universe within or resulting in its destruction. Therefore I am ultimately responsible for my life. Only me alone can determine if my universe is in order or if it will be in chaos.
Life is a zero-sum game. In the end, you get back what you put in.
You only need to just redha to Allah..
